VIII. Grand Master/Grand Mistress

The Head of the “Society of Cain”, the “Council of Masters”, and of the Grand Lodge. The next in line for this office is appointed from the Council of Masters like a vice president but succeeds in line like a Prince. The commanding Master Priestess inaugurates each new Grand Master or Grand Mistress.

VII. Master/Mistress

A Council Member who collectively are both a kind of Senate and advisors to the Grand Master/Mistress. Also they are the Chief Priests, Arbiters (aka counselors), and Warriors of the Society and lower ranking members come to them: for spiritual advice, to settle disputes, to learn, etc. the Master is a Teacher and therefore shall have the lower ranks as students.

VI. Knight/Knightess

The Knights (or Knightesses) are the lower of the ranks within the Grand Lodge. They carry out the orders of the Council of Masters.

V. Adept/Adeptess

An Adept (or Adeptess) is a Coven Leader and dictates the orders of the Knights and thus that of the Elder Council to the rest of the Lodge. He and his officers (who are chosen by him) set the Esbat meetings, hand out time and place memos, and pass on info on temple gatherings, etc.

IV. Priest/Priestess

The Priest or Priestess carries out the rituals and helps the High Priest/Priestess (aka the Adept) of the Lodge. They initiate new members as well as to help perform the necessary rites and rituals of the Lodge.

III. Dedicant

A Dedicant is a member who is willing to dedicate him or herself into the Akhkharu Faith this means that he of she takes the oath of secrecy, protection, and tolerance. The Dedicant also chooses his caste, with a little guidance of course.

II. Initiate °

The Initiate takes the oath of secrecy within the bounds of coven activity in exception to his fellow Lodge members, other area Lodges within the Society of Cain, and the Elder Council Members. He or she also is invited to join the ning.com S.o.C. Member Network.

I. Neophyte

A Neophyte is a new Member to the S.o.C. who has joined the yahoo group and makes regular posts there.

The Aspirant is a seeker who seeks to become a Member of a Coven or Haven of the Order.
